About TeamOutings
We're a small team on a mission to make planning team events simple and fun.
How TeamOutings Started
It started with a group dinner that almost didn't happen. Thomas was trying to get 15 people to agree on a restaurant, a date, and a time. After 47 emails, two spreadsheets, and a poll that nobody filled out, the dinner finally happened three weeks late. Half the team couldn't make it anymore.
That night, Thomas opened his laptop and started building something better. The idea was simple: one link, one place to vote, one confirmation. No more reply-all chains. No more "does Thursday work for everyone?" messages that spiral into chaos. Just a clean tool that made planning feel effortless.
What started as a weekend project quickly turned into something bigger. Friends at other companies asked for access. Then their friends asked. Within six months, dozens of teams were using the tool every week to plan everything from lunch runs to offsite retreats. Thomas brought on Amanda, Scott, and Trish, and TeamOutings became a real company.
Today, hundreds of teams rely on TeamOutings to plan their outings, share photos, and strengthen their culture. We're still a small team, and we still believe the best way to build a great company is to actually spend time together outside of work.
